Our main task is to save endangered fortified churches and churches. This also includes the inventory, the d\u00e9cor and furnishings and the annex buildings belonging to the ensembles, such as parish houses, schools and cultural buildings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We always base the planning of repairs on the individual circumstances of the respective objects and coordinate them with the stakeholders involved on site. Together we discuss possible and necessary courses of action and weigh up which measures make sense. Our activities range from emergency securing of monuments and maintenance and repair work to comprehensive repairs. All work is preceded by documentation in the form of inventory descriptions, photographs, drawings and further research.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

COOPERATION OFFER AND PHASES OF COLLABORATION WITH PARTNERS<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Fortified Churches Foundation offers a structured cooperation model both for Evangelical parishes, parish associations and district consistory offices, as well as for various partners such as home community associations (HOG), non-governmental organizations (NGOs), and private individuals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1. INITIAL INFORMATION AND STARTER PACKAGE<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

We gladly receive inquiries and, following an internal review, respond with an initial information package. In addition, together with the partner we define the project objectives and assess the financial feasibility of the construction project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The planned construction measures are integrated into our existing building programs according to funding possibilities and project goals. They are briefly described and explained, including from the perspective of potential tourist use.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
