In addition to the <a href=\"https:\/\/kirchenburgen.org\/en\/activities\/projects-and-consulting\/\">preservation and restoration<\/a> of fortified churches, they include workshops and summer schools for traditional crafts, <a href=\"https:\/\/kirchenburgen.org\/en\/activities\/education\/\">educational programs<\/a> for children, cultural events, and projects of adaptive reuse.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We are funded primarily by grants, <a href=\"https:\/\/kirchenburgen.org\/en\/participate\/donate\/\">donations<\/a>, and endowments, which go toward practical work on the one hand and are used to build an untouchable capital stock on the other.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Here you can find out more about our work, and us as well as about our partners and the <a href=\"https:\/\/kirchenburgen.org\/en\/foundation\/the-support-association\/\">Support Association in Germany<\/a>, which helps us in our every-day work and in achieving our set objectives.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Fortified Churches Foundation was established in the fall of 2015 on the basis of Romanian foundation law.
