The Sighi\u0219oara District Consistory then organized salvage work and provisionally secured the ruin.<\/p>\n<p>The bell tower from 1927 was not affected by the collapse, but the roof was also d<a href=\"http:\/\/kirchenburgen.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/DSC_0110-e1484296173436.jpg\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-4257\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright wp-image-4257 size-medium\" src=\"http:\/\/kirchenburgen.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/DSC_0110-300x201.jpg\" alt=\"Ansicht vom Glockenturm\" width=\"300\" height=\"201\" \/><\/a>amaged. The Fortified Churches Foundation therefore arranged for an emergency repair in the days before Christmas. The &#8220;Monumenta Transsylvaniae Werkstatt Felldorf&#8221; (rom. Monumenta Transsylvaniae Atelier Filitelnic) of the ARCUS-Association was involved.<\/p>\n<p>The work was financed by donations that reached the Foundation and the German Support Association of the Foundation.<\/p>\n<p>Additional work is required and is scheduled for spring 2017.
