Those who have visited Maniersch<\/strong> in recent weeks have surely noticed that something is happening: inside the old fortified church, hammers have been at work, boards adjusted, and careful repairs carried out \u2013 all with great attention and love for detail.<\/p>\n

In the church tower<\/strong>, the wooden staircase has been repaired, damaged boards of the battlement walkway replaced, and a bird protection system installed. The roof has also received attention, with tiles and brick coverings on the buttresses being carefully fixed.<\/p>\n

The gate tower<\/strong> has likewise been a busy site: new floors have been laid on all levels, roof tiles repaired, a service ladder installed, and the entrance area thoroughly cleaned \u2013 now ready once again to be entered and admired.<\/p>\n

The project was supervised by Sebastian Bethge<\/strong> from the Fortified Churches Foundation<\/strong>, who coordinated and supported the works with professional expertise.<\/p>\n

Every repair, every replaced tile is a small yet meaningful step towards keeping the fortified church of Maniersch<\/strong> alive \u2013 as a silent witness of history and a place for community and togetherness.<\/p>\n
