Completion of the Works on the North-West Tower in Meșendorf

Another important step has been achieved: the works on the north-west tower of the fortified church in Meșendorf have been successfully completed.

In recent weeks, intensive efforts have been made to secure the structure of the tower and ensure its long-term usability. The flooring and the wooden cladding have been completely renewed, significantly improving both the stability and the overall appearance. The existing railing has been stabilized and carefully supplemented, allowing visitors to experience the tower more safely in the future.

Special attention was also given to areas that required additional structural support. These interventions play a key role in preserving the historic fabric and ensuring that the tower can be safeguarded for the years to come.

With the completion of these works, an important stage in the ongoing efforts to preserve the fortified church of Meșendorf has come to an end. The result clearly demonstrates how valuable cultural heritage can be protected and enhanced through collective commitment.

Our sincere thanks go to HOG Meșendorf, as well as to all supporters and donors who made these works possible.
